About the Host:
When I was 15 years old, my father and I were walking along a nearby creek and came across a dam. At the foot of the dam, a photographer was shooting a model in a pair of bikini briefs and a transparent shirt. As my teenage eyes were bugging out of my skull, my father remarked that he had done some work like that when he was in college. When we got home, he brought out his old manual film cameras, and I spent the summer learning how to shoot film.
25 years later, photography has been with me throughout my life, sometimes being more important, sometimes less. I've shot portraiture, tried my hand at landscapes, but I've always had erotic and glamour in the back of my mind. It's only been in the last year that I've overcome my own inertia and reluctance and started shooting nude work. And then Covid happened, and I stopped shooting.
While Covid is a massive tragedy, the pause in shooting provided me with space and time to work on a project I'd been thinking about for a while. The same inertia and fears I had been fighting through probably affected a number of other potential content creators. So was born the podcast. This was an opportunity for me to meet those content creators I wanted to emulate and work with, while also sharing those same insights with others who were thinking of making the jump.
